modern nursery furniture

Genius Jones
This is the baby store in Miami for everything modern and minimalist. The best thing about this site is that all orders over $99 ship free -- including furniture and oversized items.
Free ground shipping on orders over $99.

Zac & Zoe
Another site with a great shipping policy. Like most of the stores listed on this page, Zac & Zoe carries the most popular modern baby brands including furniture by Nurseryworks, Oeuf, Ooba and ducduc, crib linens by Nurseryworks and ducduc, and rugs by Angela Adams. I also love the fact that they carry organic mattresses.
Free Shipping on most orders (surcharge for some furniture items)

ModernNursery
Carries a good range, from budget-priced furniture by Argington and Nurseryworks to high end offerings by NettoCollection.

ModernTots
Fabulous modern baby store located in the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) section of Brooklyn. One complaint... their site doesn't identify many of their items by brand. Don't miss the gorgeous Ian crib and Amar bed by Brooklyn designer Bruce Marsh. They're massively expensive, but unlike the vast majority of high-end baby furniture which is constructed from MDF, plywood, veneer and particleboard, this collection is made of 100% solid hardwood.

single brand boutiques

NettoCollection - NYC interior designer David Netto is the fomer husband of actress Ione Skye (from "Say Anything"). His high-end modern nursery collection can be found in the nurseries of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jerry Seinfeld. Constructed primarily of MDF and wood veneers.

ducduc - This pricey NYC design house uses only sustainably harvested hardwoods and non-VOC paints (VOC or Volatile Organic Compounds produce fumes). Cribs convert to toddler beds; they also make twin and full-size beds.
Construction: Hardwoods (including baltic birch, ash, and walnut), hardwood veneers and plywood.

Oeuf - Many know them primarily for their gorgeous baby lounger. But they also make a line of modern nursery furniture that is somewhat less pricey than ducduc or NettoCollection.
Construction: solid birch, MDF, plywood.

Miguel - This ultra-pricey Italian-made nursery furniture is from the Miguel boutique in NYC's Tribeca. Upwards of $10,000 for a three piece nursery furniture set. The crib converts to a toddler or youth bed.
