	Dean & Deluca Headquartered in New York, Dean & Deluca has 14 stores in the US and a handful in Japan. This is a great place to go for gifts; they offer excellent assortments and samplers of cheese, coffee, tea, olive oil, olives, caviar and other gourmet foods sourced from the world's finest artisanal producers. Offerings include Lady M. cheesecakes, H&H Bagels, Baked NYC brownie & cookie assortments (pictured at left), Good Shepherd heritage turkeys, Rogue Creamery cheese and Sarabeth's preserves. 	Zingerman's This Ann Arbor, Michigan store has grown into a nationally recognized gourmet mecca. A foodie favorite, but their website often fails to mention brand names and lacks photos.

Di Bruno Bros. - Philadelphia's home-grown gourmet food emporium has an excellent online store. Standouts include Cowgirl Creamery's outstanding cheeses from Northern California, Bee Raw artisanal honey and Harvest Song preserves.

Market Hall Foods - European style market place in Oakland, CA. Carries everything from artisanal soy sauce to candied violet petals.

Eli Zabar - Top NYC Upper East Side gourmet food shop. Small online selection. Good gift options. Best known for fresh salmon and breads.

Williams Sonoma - This small but impeccably sourced selection is great for gift-giving.

Chef Shop - Highly regarded Seattle-based online and retail store.

L'Epicerie - Specializes in hard-to-find cooking ingredients and fine foods, including acclaimed Mad Mac macaroons from NYC.

Citarella - One of New York City's top gourmet food shops. Known for meat and seafood. They charge a lot for shipping.

Mackenzie Limited - Stocks many individual food items, but primarily known for its selection of restaurant quality prepared frozen meals designed by celebrity chefs.
